LAWRENCE R. REICH was admitted to the practice of law in New York State in 1965, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut.  Education: B.A., Franklin and Marshall College (1962); J.D., New York University School of Law (1965).  Counsel to White Plains, N.Y. Urban Renewal Agency (1967-1980).  Listed in: (i) “Best Lawyers in America” for the specialties of Bankruptcy and Creditors – Debtors Rights Law; (ii) the Best Lawyers List of New York area attorneys for New York Magazine for the same specialties; (iii) Westchester Magazine (1/05) as one of the area’s “Best Lawyers” for the same specialties; and (iv) Strathmore’s Who’s Who (2008).  Recognized by Corporate Counsel Magazine in its selection of Top Lawyers: Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights Law for 2010.  Member (1978-1986) and Vice President (1986), Valhalla Board of Education. Member: White Plains Bar Association (President, 1978), Westchester County Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Justice Brandeis Law Society of Westchester.  Lecturer on bankruptcy and corporate reorganization issues before various bar associations and civic, law school, educational and business groups.  Co-author of “You Can Go Bankrupt Without Going Broke: An Essential Guide to Personal Bankruptcy”[1] and of numerous published articles on bankruptcy and corporate reorganization issues.
